The Jack Rack:

Q:What is the rated capacity of The Jack Rack?

A:We have tested The Jack Rack to 100 lbs., which far exceeds any Aluminum, or Aluminum/Steel Floor Jack on the market.

Q:Will The Jack Rack accommodate ALL Aluminum and Aluminum/Steel Floor Jacks?

A:It should accommodate just about all of them.  It is impossible for us to test every single Floor Jack on the market, so we can not say yes for sure.  There are (2) key factors to consider.  The first is the width of the frame where the aluminum front wheel is attached.  Not necessarily the width of the wheel itself.  As long as the inside width of the frame is constant, then any Aluminum or Aluminum/Steel Floor Jack will work.  You can not necessarily go by the width of the front wheel, because some wheels are shorter, but have play in them which allows them to slide back and forth within the frame slightly.  The cradle on The Jack Rack is 5-3/4" wide.  So, if the inside width of the frame where the aluminum front wheel is attached, on your Floor Jack, is no less than 5-3/4" wide, then you're all set!!!  The second factor is the diameter of the aluminum front wheel.  The cradle on The Jack Rack has an inside diameter of 2-1/2".  So, if the outside diameter of the aluminum front wheel on your Floor Jack is smaller than 2-1/2", then you're all set there as well!!!

Q:Will The Jack Rack accommodate a typical all steel floor jack?

A:Weight wise it should, but it is not recommended, unless it is under 100 lbs.  It would also need to have front wheels, or a front wheel which would fit into the cradle of The Jack Rack.  It is also not recommended to pick up a floor jack of that weight and try to hang it on the wall.  Back/neck injury may occur.

Q:Can The Jack Rack be mounted anywhere?

A:As long as the surface you are mounting it to can hold the weight of the floor jack you will be using.  It can be mounted to stud walls using the supplied hardware.  It can also be mounted to concrete construction using the proper concrete fasteners, or to the wall of a trailer, or tool box, with the proper fasteners.

Q:What is the life expectancy of The Jack Rack?

A:The Jack Rack was designed to last the lifetime of the person using it, and then some.  It is made out of steel for durability and to have a long life.  It is also powder-coated, not painted, to keep it looking new for years to come.  As long as it is used for its intended purpose, it should last forever.

Q:The powder-coated finish you are currently offering is called Silver/Gray Hammertone.  What does that look like exactly?

A:Please see the sample picture below.
